Pentagram have added more dates to their March U.S. tour with Brother Dege and Dirty Streets. The trek will find the band back out with frontman Bobby Liebling for the first time since he was sentenced to 18 months at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Rockville, MD in 2017 on a charge of physical abuse/neglect of a vulnerable adult-custodian. That charge stemmed from an incident that took place in May of 2017 involving Libeling and his elderly mother.
An initial announcement for the tour stated that Libeling—who has had a storied history of substance abuse problems—is now ‘remorseful and rehabilitated.’ That statement wasn’t enough for some people though, as a previously planned show of the tour that was to take place at Growlers in Memphis, TN was pulled by the venue after apparent outcry over Liebling‘s involvement.
