Killswitch Engage Planning Fall Release For New Album

Killswitch Engage‘s eighth studio album has had a long and difficult gestating process that saw the sessions temporarily cut short when frontman Jesse Leach was forced to undergo surgery for a polyp on his vocal cords. Despite the record itself having been roughly two years in the making and sessions for it having wrapped last December though, it would appear that they are in no rush to release it.

Promotional materials (see below) for the record reveal that the outing will arrive this fall through the band’s new label home of Metal Blade Records. When the album does hit, it is expected to feature a song which finds the band’s former frontman Howard Jones (now of Light The Torch) guesting.

Killswitch Engage are out now on this co-headlining tour with Parkway Drive that also features After The Burial and Vein.
